& 4 STROKE PORTING
4 stroke head porting-Stage 2: $400 Plus parts if required.
Stage two porting: Is for full racing or Big Bore applications, where more performance and flow are required. Max Power ports to suit your Big Bore or racing application.
After porting is complete, the head is reassembled with new valve seals.(always replace valve seals in the valves are removed) If additional parts are necessary, or recommended we will call to get approval before replacing. Remember we offer complete piston and gasket kits that can be shipped back with your head by request.
2 Stroke cylinder porting: $250 without plating or
$125 with plating.
Step One: 2-stroke cylinder
porting includes the disassembly and cleaning of your cylinder.
Exhaust valves (where applicable) are cleaned and inspected
for damage. Cylinder bores are checked with a dial bore gauge
to insure the bore is true.
Step Two: All two stroke ports are carefully inspected and modified. Exhaust ports are polished and in extreme cases epoxy may be used to repair serious casting errors from the factory, or to change transfer port volumes or velocity. All porting specs are designed from computer programs and from exhaustive research and development in the field.
Step Three:
Cylinder heads are modified to compliment the porting package and fuel Octane. Head modifications are not always required, but can help in changing the power delivery and characteristics of your machine.
Step Four:
Cylinders are re-assembled and exhaust valves are timed before your engine is carefully packaged for shipping. Keep in mind, we can return ship with a new Xtreme piston and gasket set if requested.
